Background Mrs. Anu Sharma, has done M.A. in Politics (with specialization in International Relations) and M.Phil (American Studies) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in the year 2002 and 2005 respectively. Her M.Phil dissertation of interest/focus was American Studies and U.S. domestic politics and its impact on the American Foreign policy. While preparing for my PhD from JNU itself in American Studies under the topic “US Intervention in the Post Cold War World: A study of Haiti and Afghanistan” I had tried to explore the role of US in the post cold war world.


Sayed Mahdi Munadi

Specialization Afghanistan’s foreign Policy
Education M.A in Politics and International Relations from Kabul University.
Background Sayed Mahdi Munadi joined Centre for Strategic studies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Afghanistan as researcher in 2013. He is currently responsible for regional cooperation and integration in South and Central Asia. Mr. Munadi holds a B.A and M.A in Politics and International Relations from Kabul University. Mr. Munadi is the author of several research and analytic works with particular focus on Afghanistan’s regional integration which have been published in academic journals and as book-chapters. He has also translated two books into Dari from English titled: Islamic Networks” Pakistan, Central Asia and Afghanistan” and ‘Towards a More Cooperative South Asia’. In addition he has presented his work at various national and international conferences. Mr Munadi is also a university lecturer currently teaching modules on Principles of International Relations at a number of private Afghan universities in Kabul.

Recently he published an paper in ijrssh titled “India-Turkey Relations: Challenges and Opportunities in 21st century. Presently he is working as a Research Associate in the Third World Studies (JMI), University.

Background Mihir Bhonsale is working with the Kolkata chapter of Observer Research Foundation. His focus is on India’s neighbourhood, Bhutan and Myanmar in particular. He is pursuing his PhD on the ethnicity of Tai-Khamti, a tribe from North-East India. His research interests include ethnicity, international relations and area studies.
