Issue : Conflict Resolution, Security,
China’s Civil Affairs Ministry issued an order on April14 –the official names of the six places using the Roman or Tibetan alphabet are Wo’gyainling, Mila Ri, Qoidengarbo Ri, Mainquka, Bumo La and Namkapub Ri.” China has said the names of Arunachal towns have been used by ethnic people of Tibetans. Quickly India clarify that “Renaming or inventing names of states of your neighbour do not make illegal occupation as legal," said Gopal Baglay, spokesperson from the Ministry of External Affairs. These act shows that China don’t want to stable relations with India. China always opened confrontation with India. What China has become proudly nation? Recently, the Philippines’ president, Rodrigo Duterte has cancelled a planned visit to an island the Philippines claims in the disputed South China Sea, after Beijing warned him against the visit Duterte cancelled his visit. China angered when Trump administration deploys missiles in South Korea, China argued that it will start nuclear arm race in the region. If North Korea days and Night dreaming of war what South Korea do?
China was angry when President Trump and Taiwan’s leader Tsai Ing-wen talk with each other that were only normal talk. Other side recently, Sri Lankan government proposes to cut China’s stake in the Hambantota port from 80 percent to 60 percent. Sri Lanka given logic that the country’s strategic assets must remain in the hands of the Sri Lankan government but China annoyed. Recently, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister visited India and India announced a $5-billion loan to Bangladesh and both promised each other to solve all pending issues peacefully.
These are some examples showing that China wants to see world on its eyes. This attitude shows that China has become proudly nation and wants to threats to all. India is a soft, democratic and developing nation and respects all neighbours. When President Xi Jinping visiting India other side Chinese forces intruding India’s territory in Chumar sector of eastern Ladakh.
Actually, When Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power in 2014 India picked up the reforms speed but other side China’s economy slowing down. Consequently, India’s GDP 2016 7.1% and China’s GDP grew 6.7%, the slowest in 26 years may be a reason Chinese not likening India. China’s aggressive attitude has become headache for India, China does not want cooperating attitude with India. Few weeks back Australia's Defence attaché to New Delhi has requested that India allow the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to attend the Malabar Exercise this year an official "observer". “Australia is very interested in a quadrilateral engagement with India, Japan and the United States,” said Marise Payne, Minister for Defense ,Australia. These nations are uniting with each other because of China’s aggressive attitude.
A Well Known scholar Dr. Satoru Nagao, Research Fellow at the Colombo-based Institute of National Security Studies (INSS) advices Sri Lanka to cultivate good relations with India and India-friendly countries like Japan, to counterbalance its relations with China which could cause tension in the South Asian region. Japan and the United States would wish India to exhibit a more positive role in the Indian Ocean. India’ rise helps lower the heavy burden on Japan and the US in the Indian Ocean and helps them concentrate naval and air military resources towards areas around Japan and the South China Sea. China’s hegemonic act in the region has been countering by India that’s why China tries to pressurise India in illogical matters.
Even Pakistan also does not want Chinese friendship it has only India’s fear if India and Pakistan sit together remove all confrontations Pakistan not need Chinese. Chinese are first businessman then after friend of any country. Recently, an article published in The Economist “225m reasons for China’s leaders to worry” it says by 2020 the ranks of the Chinese middle class may well outnumber Europeans and they can demand more rights more freedom . And he given examples of two countries first South Korean where student -led protests in the 1980s helped end military rule and demand political rights same Chinese middle class society can demand. Other Taiwan in the 1990s middle-class demands for democracy led an authoritarian government to allow free elections. These fears are common in the present one party rule system in China.
China has engulfed many problems internally and externally that’s why China diverts the attention of their people raising the unnecessary issues with India. Knowingly China built China Pakistan Economic corridor (CPEC), China knows that this corridor area is disputed between India and Pakistan. China says that CEPEC will help to counter extremism in Xinjiang but other side China has blocked India’s bid to get the UN to list Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a terrorist.
So, China has to change its attitude towards India, India is not a small country. The population of India represents 17.99 percent of the world´s total population which arguably means that one person in every 6 people on the planet is a resident of India (estimated at 1299.0 million people in 2016). China wants to disturb India’s attention from its developing agenda. India is a big democratic country and China is a communist country China always shows communism is superior to democracy.
That’s why India has to make stronger positions with the allies in the region Japan, Australia, U.S, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar are eager to work with India. And make assures peace in the region and closely watch South China Sea issue.
